You know no warmth.
Your heart is full of ice,
Frozen in a crystalline cocoon.
You wrap yourself in a shell of arctic air,
Burning anyone who reaches out to you.
Your heart is a barren landscape,
Empty and unfeeling.
You are incapable of letting anyone in.
You pretend you’re too cool for everyone,
But I see the insecurity in your eyes.
You’re too afraid of getting hurt
To open your heart to anyone.
You are a frigid glacier,
Sheer and daunting.
You keep yourself unapproachable,
As to not lose your frigid cloak.
